9/19/11:

Braiden: Mom, the kids were putting their math work away too quickly so I couldn't see the answers.

9/18/11:

Braiden: Mom, how are we going to get (literally) to Heaven.

Mom: Braiden, I am not sure how we are going to get there exactly.

Braiden: Maybe a ladder or trampoline?

9/17/11:

Mason: I need a girlfriend.

9/14/11:

Mommy: You are welcome son.

Mason: I am not your son, I am Mason.

Mommy: You are my son Mason.

Mason: I am not your son.

Mommy: Yes you are.

Mason: No I not.

9/13/11:

According to Mason we were watching "Lighting McQueen" (lighting storm) out Braiden's window in the car and then he asked if I could move it to his side of the car. Sure son...

8/23/11:

Braiden excuse for not getting dressed this morning was because he was checking his phone.

8/22/11:

Braiden's reason for not eating half of his lunch today was because he was too busy staring at his "girlfriend."

7/29/11:

Braiden asked Jesus into his heart at VBS!

7/27/11:

Braiden is being entertained by a typewriter, probably because he has never seen one until today!

7/20/11:

I asked Braiden if he understood why a privilege was being taken away and Mason quickly answered for him, "because he did not listen the first time."
7/19/11:

Braiden thinks I should ask God who scratched my van, because he knows God sees everything.

7/9/11:

Mason: Mom, I cute! (While wearing a shirt, pajama bottoms and his John Deere boots)

6/29/11:

Mason: Mom, I smell like a taco.

6/17/11:

Braiden, Max and Mason playing Jake and The Neverland Pirates :)

6/10/11:

Mason drank out of the dog's water bowl today. It is probably a good thing that he was already on antibiotics!

6/2/11:

Mason: Mommy, you are my best friend.

Mommy: Forever?

Mason: Forever.

6/1/11:

Mason thinks the hail coming from the sky was poop.

5/27/11:

Tomorrow is Braiden's last day of Kindergarten, even though he tells me every morning now he is already a 1st grader.

5/8/11:

So I was telling Braiden that today was the day we picked him up from his Baby Home and he made me a mommy. I then thanked him for making me a mommy and he replied by saying, "thanks mommy for making me 6 years old." So much for a serious conversation :)

5/3/11:

Braiden: Are there going to be toys in Heaven and are we going to look like the Statute if Liberty?

4/19/11:

Mason has upgraded his "No" to "I not Mom, I not." I wonder how long I will think this is cute? He also says "I am" with attitude.

4/5/11:

At almost 2 1/2 Mason is putting on his own shoes, trying now to count to 30 and can say the days of the week...I think I have one smart little boys on my hands :)

3/27/11:

Braiden told Mommy this morning that she looked "PERFECT." (At least I have taught one boy in my life the right thing to say when a woman asks they how look!)

3/24/11:

Mason has said Mommy over 100 times this morning...ahhh!

1/31/11:

Braiden kept calling the dog Sam before bed. Mommy likes Jake better, but I am sure the dogs name will end up being Sam in the morning :)

1/12/11:

Mason was saying something this morning that I could not understand. So I asked Braiden, "do you understand what your brother is saying" and he said, "no, he must be speaking Spanish." Where does he come up with this stuff?!?

1/5/11:

Mommy: Mason, where does Jesus live?

Mason: In my heart.

12/31/10:

I was not really prepared this morning when Braiden asked how babies are made :) Luckily he is a 5, so I was able to give him a simple answer and change the topic quickly!!!

12/10/10:

Braiden has informed us that the real Santa is still in the North Pole getting his present ready and the other Santas we see around are just the "fake" ones.

12/5/10:

Mason can now count to 14 and Braiden keeps telling me he is 6 yrs old...why are these boys trying to grow up so fast!?!?
